Teen Hospitalized After Colliding With Pickup Truck: Police
A teen girl was hospitalized after colliding with a Dodge pickup while crossing the street on Long Island, Suffolk County police say.
EAST ISLIP, NY — A teenage girl was hospitalized after colliding with a truck while crossing the street on Long Island on Friday, Suffolk County police told Patch.
A man was driving a 2013 Dodge pickup northbound on Carleton Avenue in East Islip when a 15-year-old girl ran westbound across the street and collided with the vehicle around 5:10 p.m., police said.
She was transported to Good Sam Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
