Drunk Homeless Man Attacks 3 Women In The East Village: NYPD

The man struck one victim with a bike lock so hard that the woman lost a tooth.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — Police arrested a drunk, homeless man for a spate of violent attacks against three women in the East Village, the New York Post first reported.

Carlos Munoz, 23, was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly went on a savage Saturday spree. The rampage began at about 11:15 p.m. on East 11th Street near Second Avenue when he allegedly cut off a 20-year-old woman on his bike, pushed her to the ground and repeatedly punched her in the face, police said.

Cops said the man struck again on East 15th Street and Third Avenue at midnight when he allegedly hit an 18-year-old woman in the face with a bike lock — she lost a tooth in the attack, reported the Post.

The final attack came shortly after on 14th Street and Second Avenue when the man smacked a 20-year-old woman in the back of the head with a bike lock, police said.
