L Train Shutdown: Ask Your Questions At Thursday's Community Meeting

The MTA and the city's Department of Transportation are hosting a community workshop on the planned L train shutdown.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — The city will host its fourth and final in a series of meeting on the looming L train shutdown on Thursday night, this one focused on the impact of the shutdown on 14th Street.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Town & Village Synagogue, located at 334 East 14th St. Representatives from the MTA and the city's transportation department are jointly hosting the workshop.

Last year, the city announced that the L train would shut down between Bedford and 8th avenues for 18 months starting in 2019.
