EAST VILLAGE, NY — A man was head-butted and punched in the face repeatedly during a fight outside a yoga center last month, police said.
Officers are still searching for the assailant who attacked the 39-year-old man on Aug. 12, according to the NYPD. Police say that the attacker, a man who has not been identified, got into a fight with the 39-year-old man just before 4 a.m. outside 25 First Ave., the street address for a yoga and wellness center. During the fight, the man head-butted and punched the 39-year-old multiple times and cut him with a sharp object, police said. The 39-year-old was left with a broken jaw and cuts on his head and shoulder.
The attacker ran from the area. Police released surveillance photos and video of the man on Friday, and are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating him.
