We do one thing – provide very young students with a magical introduction to ballet – and we focus all of our energy on doing that one thing in the highest quality manner possible. This means that every aspect of your child’s experience at Tutu School- from the sparkling spaces to the smiling faces – has been specifically tailored to the needs of even the tiniest dancers. Our carefully crafted curriculum was designed by dance professionals and developmental specialists to ensure that precisely the right amount of ballet technique is being introduced to students at exactly the right time, and not any earlier than their little bodies and young imaginations are ready for it. Importantly, our Tutu teachers receive thoughtful training in our curriculum and in the best ways to support young dancers, whatever their age, developmental stage, or level of experience. EAST VILLAGE, NY — A man trapped beneath an elevator in an East Village building was rushed to the hospital in critical condition on Wednesday morning, fire officials said. The man, who is believed to be an elevator mechanic, was stuck under the elevator at a building at 380 Lafayette St., an FDNY spokesman told Patch. Firefighters responded at 11:04 a.m. and he was rushed to Bellevue hospital in critical condition after being rescued, the spokesman said. The fire department was not immediately able to provide additional details about the man or his condition. In a separate incident, four people <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/heights-dumbo/fdny-working-rescue-4-con-ed-elevator-brooklyn" target="_blank">were trapped</a> inside an elevator stuck underground in a Consolidated Edison plant in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning.
