If you ever wanted to party with a police officer, you had your chance this week.
New York City's National Night Out Against Crime happens annually on the first Tuesday of August, and East Village's Precinct 9 celebrated Aug. 2. It marks a day where community affairs NYPD officers teach communities different best safety practices at local festivals for different precincts.
