Teens Arrested After Mugging Woman In East Village, Police Say
Two teenagers were arrested on Thursday after they allegedly kicked a woman to the ground and stole her purse, police said.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — Two teenagers were arrested on Thursday after they attacked a woman in the East Village and stole her purse, police said.
The 14-year-old and 16-year-old boys were arrested on Thursday at about 12:36 a.m., the NYPD said in a statement. Both were charged with robbery.
Police say the two boys attacked a 62-year-old woman in August. The boys were on East Fifth Street near Avenue C on Aug. 19 when they began following the woman, according to the NYPD. At about 8 p.m. that night, the men kicked her to the ground and then ran away with her purse, authorities said..
