Art Show Opens; Charlie Whitmore Celebrates 45 Years

- The second annual Midweek Art show at Ashawagh Hall opens on Wednesday with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. The show features the work of Cynthia Loewen, John Todaro, Jerry Schwabe, Lynn Martell, Peter Spacek and Sarah Jaffe Turnbull. The show is two-days only, and you can catch the show from noon until 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
- Congratulations to Charlie Whitmore and company for 45 years in business. It's great to see local businesses thrive and stick around, right? You can celebrate with him at his Montauk Highway digs on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.Â
