Brooklyn Man Ran 'East Hampton Cocaine Delivery Service': DA

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Brooklyn man pleaded guilty Monday after running an "East Hampton cocaine delivery service," Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said.

Michael Khodorkovskiy, 44, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after selling cocaine with the intention of having it distributed in Suffolk County, Tierney said.

According to court documents and the defendant’s admissions during his guilty plea allocution, between July 2023 and August 2024, Khodorkovskiy sold high quantities of cocaine to an
undercover police officer near his residence in Brooklyn.

He sold those drugs, believing that the drugs were going to be sold in Suffolk County; he also traveled to East Hampton and sold cocaine to another undercover police officer, believing it was going tobe redistributed in East Hampton and Montauk, during the busy summer months when the Hamptons experience a high influx of visitors and tourists, Tierney said.

At the commencement of the police investigation, officers working in an undercover capacitywere able to infiltrate Khodorkovskiy’s network and pose as customers, Tierney said. The undercover officers would then contact Khodorkovskiy or his co-defendant, Alexander Dyatchin, 39, of East Hampton, to arrange for the purchase of cocaine, Tierney said

During the course of those narcotics sales, Khodorkovskiy spoke of those drugs being earmarked for Suffolk County for resale — specifically, Khodorkovskiy noted the drugs were earmarked for the Hamptons in the summer months, Tierney said.

Khodorkovskiy sold significant quantities of cocaine to the undercover officers on multiple occasions, including four instances in which two ounces of cocaine was sold, the DA said. Co-defendant Dyatchin was allegedly involved in those sales as well. On August 2, 2024, members of the East End Drug Task Force arrested Khodorkovskiy and Dyatchin, the DA said.

At the time of his arrest, Khodorkovskiy was in possession of a kilo and a quarter of cocaine destined for Suffolk County, Tierney said. Khodorkovskiy owned a Mercedes-Benz, which police discovered held a hidden compartment, also known as a "trap," that was filled with additionalcocaine and the narcotic MDMA, the DA said. Additionally, $38,550 dollars in cash and 39 gold coins with an estimated value of $100,000 were recovered from Khodorkovskiy’s Brooklyn apartment during the execution of a search warrant, Tierney said. Also, $395,055 in U.S. currency was seized from various bank accounts linked to Khodorkoyskiy, Tierney said.

Dyatchin’s case remains pending, the DA said.

On Monday, Khodorkovskiy pleaded guilty before Supreme Court Justice John B. Collins to second degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class A-II Felony, Tierney said.

Khodorkovskiy faces 10 years in prison, followed by five years of post-release supervision; as part of his plea, Khodorkovskiy has forfeited $572,353 seized from him, the DA said.

Khodorkovskiy is due back in court on May 29, 2025, and he is being represented by Matthew Myers, who could not immediately be reached for comment.

"This guilty plea demonstrates our commitment to disrupting the flow of dangerous narcotics anywhere into Suffolk County.
