Cops: Man Hops in Someone Else's Chevy and Backs Into Beemer
East Hampton Village police also make one drunken driving arrest this week.

The following information was supplied by the East Hampton Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
• A dispute over cars parked in a driveway on Main Street led to the arrest of the homeowner.
East Hampton Village police said Nicholas Lobaccaro and another person argued about the cars that were parked in his driveway on Aug. 22 at about 11:30 p.m. He then got into the other person's vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe and backed into a 2009 BMW, police said.
Lobaccaro was arrested on two charges — criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
He was released on $200 bail and will be arraigned in East Hampton Town Justice Court on Sept. 12.
• Juan Carlos Martinez Solis, 21, of East Hampton, was arrested on a drunken driving charge on Aug. 21. Police said they received a call about a possible drunken driver in the area of Montauk Highway and Stephen Hands Path, when they saw a 2012 Honda Civic driving on the shoulder at about 3 a.m. Police pulled him over near Toilsome Lane after he also crossed over the solid double yellow lines. He was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a violation, and two traffic infractions, at about 3:30 a.m. He was released on $200 bail after arraignment.
