A dead man was discovered in a burning vehicle in Hampton Bays yesterday.
At 12:04 p.m. Southampton Town Police responded to a reported vehicle fire on the beach acres at 107 North Road in Hampton Bays. They found a vehicle engulfed in flames. After the Southampton and Hampton Bays fire departments put out the fires, the body of the dead man was discovered inside, according to a New York Post report.
The initial spokesman also said that the death was "either accidental or a suicide."
