- The man killed in a Christmas morning home invasion in North Sea was Steven Byrnes. Byrnes, 53, of Roses Grove Road, was found dead of a gunshot wound in his home at 8:45 a.m., according to Suffolk County Police. Anyone with information on the shooting to contact the homicide squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.(Patch)
