Here are the top stories today in East Hampton:

  1. Several new East Hampton town officials, including current Supervisor Bill Wilkinson, newcomers to the town board and Superintendent of Highway, took the oath of office before a near packed town hall on Tuesday. (Patch)
  2. The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons is a new vaccination site located at 111 St. Andrews Road in Southampton. Moderna shots and boosters will be available on Tuesdays from noon to 6 p.m. for people ages 18 and up. Pfizer shots and boosters will be given on Thursdays from noon to 6 p.m., for the same age group, with boosters available for those 16 and up. Appointments for vaccines are required.   3. Opening this spring in East Hampton is a branch of a popular artisanal ice cream shop in Manhattan called A La Mode Shoppe. The new ice cream store will be located at 35 Newtown Lane, formerly occupied by Scoop Du Jour. (LiTimes.org)
  4. 2021 marked a return for East End dining. In the Hamptons and North Fork, eating came back in a big way this year. (Dan's Papers)
