- Sunday night, police arrested Dixon Contreras Garcia, 37, a Riverside man for driving while intoxicated after he rear-ended a vehicle along Flanders Road. Contreras Garcia was charged with aggravated DWI, police said. (Southampton Patch)
- Long Island’s Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons, based in Jamesport, is celebrating 10 years of rehabilitation and the release of thousands of turtles. Over the 10 years, the foundation has saved more than 1,500 turtles. Now that is something the celebrate about! (News 12)
