🌱 East Hampton Daily: Rentals Reach $1M Per Month + $250M Water Grant

Here are the top stories today in East Hampton:

1. We are truly dealing with inflation when we see record rents for the season, more than $1 million per month in the Hamptons. Landlords did very well the first two summers of the pandemic. However, with some sort of normalcy returning to our lives, travelers are instead, considering international locations that have reopened. (The Real Deal)
2. On Friday, the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society, located in Hampton Bays, transported 11 endangered and rehabilitated Kemp’s ridley sea turtles from their critical care facility in Westhampton Beach. You have to feel good about that! (Subscription: Newsday)
3. Local artist Chris Kelly will launch a second solo show at the Colm Rowan Fine Art Gallery, located at 55 Main St., East Hampton. This is after Kelly's very successful inaugural Hamptons season in 2021 and an active winter season! (LongIsland.com)
4. The state Environmental Facilities Corporation awarded more than $250 million in state grants to Long Island water providers for a range of projects, including treating emerging water contaminants. See what towns are getting the benefit of the grant. (Subscription: Newsday)
