House Fire Sends 3 Departments to Sagaponack
Automatic fire alarm alerts officials to fully-involved fire.
Three South Fork fire departments are responding to a house fire in Sagaponack on Monday morning.
An automatic fire alarm went off at 45 Jacob's Way, in Sagaponack prompting a visit from officials at about 6:40 a.m.
When they arrived on scene, they found heavy smoke in the area and "a working structure fire." The department's engine and several trucks responded to the scene, which is on a cul-de-sac off Hedges Lane.

No one was in the house when emergency officials arrived.
Chief Tim Doran called for 's Rapid Intervention Team, in case firefighters needed to be rescued. A ladder truck was requested from the East Hampton Fire Department.

The Southampton Fire Department and North Sea Fire Department was also called to stand-by at Bridgehampton's headquarters.
A second ambulance was requested to the scene at about 7:30 a.m. The Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance brought an ambulance to stand-by at Bridgehampton's station.
