Lions Hear from Meals on Wheels Director

On Thursday night, the East Hampton Lions Club welcomed Gretchen Howe, the executive director of Meals on Wheels, to discuss that organization's not-for-profit mission to deliver lunches and hot dinners to those in the community who are homebound. 

Started in 1983, this Meals on Wheels chapter is independently funded through donations, with a very small amount coming from grants. Volunteers prepare and deliver the food to those in need.
