Local Montauk Artist’s Two Day Pop-up at Gosman’s July 8 & 9

A great opportunity to go and see the amazing works of two Montauk Local Artists.

A two day pop-up collective is coming to Gosman’s Dock Promenade this weekend, July 8th and 9th 10am-10pm. Featuring goodies from local gift shop Drifts East and two local Montauk artists, Juliana Purcell Sheehan and Erik Schwab.

Each of these three artists bring something special and exciting to the space.
Erica Remkus, owner of Drifts East is a 12th generation East Ender who created a delightful gift shop in Montauk Harbor, located at 478 West Lake Drive (https://www.google.com/maps/search/478+West+Lake+Drive?entry=gmail&source=g). She designs and creates many of the items herself making the store truly one of a kind. You can find a wide array of gifts, handmade Jewelry, home decor, serving pieces and plenty of unique Montauk keepsakes.

Acrylic Painter, Juliana Purcell Sheehan, specializes in Braille paintings. Her concept is one of a kind which encourages viewers to feel her paintings because each one incorporates a different message in Braille. Her paintings range from contemporary faces to fine arts local nautical scenes. She shows her work three times a week locally, here on the East End and at international art shows including Art Basel, Art Market Hamptons and Art Expo NYC. She has clients around the globe from Paris to California.

Erik Schwab, is an accomplished photographer and local science teacher right here in Montauk. His ability to capture and ultimately connect strangers to beautiful moments in nature is unparalleled. While he resides in Montauk, where most of his art is rooted, he has collected imagery from all over the planet. Erik has been showing his work from the Hamptons to NYC for over a decade and has pieces sold all over the wo
rld.
