Your guide to what's happening in the community.

Good morning, East Hampton. Here’s a look at Tuesday.
- Let's bring you up to speed on Monday's top news: Thomas Jonathan J. Ravenel, a former South Carolina state treasurer, was arrested early Monday morning in East Hampton Village on a drunken driving charge.
- "EVE," The Neo-Political Cowgirls' show, opens Tuesday night at LTV Studios in Wainscott. Directed by Kate Mueth, the audience moves freely through 13 rooms as Eve's story unfolds through music, movement and art. A nightly lounge will be hosted by The Cuddy American Gastropub. Tickets are $35 online or $40 at door.
- You might want to have a backup plan for outdoor activities, in case it rains. Weather.com is predicting an 60 percent chance of rain with possible thunderstorms.
- Looking for something to do with the kids indoors? The Amagansett Library offers First Story Time, for children up to 4 years old, at 10 a.m.
- Stephanie Rankin, whose husband Skip Rankin was saved by the Montauk Fire Department ambulance crew just over a week ago, wrote into Patch on Monday from their home in Florida. She said, "Thanks for the great care my husband received. This new program saved his life. I can not say enough how grateful I am to the Montauk Ambulance Squad. Great job-Keep up the good work."
- Early Tuesday morning, I received a text from Cari Siegal, who got engaged during Saturday's Soldier Ride. She saw the article and photographs, and she wrote in with thanks. "Such a great way to capture our special day," she said. Thanks for letting us share your story, Cari!
