E-Bike Rider Critically Injured In Montauk Crash: Police (patch.com) — East Hampton Town police are investigating a serious collision between an e-bike and an SUV on Montauk Highway in Montauk that left a 70-year-old Bronx man in critical but stable condition. The 75-year-old Montauk driver remained at the scene and is cooperating, and police say no criminality is suspected at this time. Witnesses are urged to contact East Hampton Town police with any information.

Voters Approve Montauk School Bond (easthamptonstar.com) — Montauk voters, within the Town of East Hampton, have overwhelmingly approved a $34.8 million bond and use of $2.9 million in savings to overhaul their aging school building and related facilities. The plan includes major classroom, gym, and arts upgrades plus rebuilding a superintendent’s residence, with work now moving into detailed planning and state review.

Gardner Wrestling Tourney a Gripping Event (27east.com) — East Hampton wrestling fans can celebrate senior Franco Palombino’s dramatic pin to win the 285-pound class and Juan Espinoza’s title at 215 during the team’s annual Sprig Gardner tournament. Several Bonac teammates, including Bronco Campsey and Caleb Mott, also reached the finals, showcasing a strong performance for the East Hampton/Pierson/Bridgehampton squad.
