Missing, Vulnerable East Hampton Man, 88, Found Safe: Police
He was found about a mile from his family's home Saturday, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY β An 88-year-old East Hampton man who went missing Friday night has been found safe, police said.
According to East Hampton Town police, Francisco Alejo-Garcia was found about a mile from his family's home early Saturday afternoon by an East Hampton Town police sergeant operating a department-issued drone.
Alejo-Garcia went missing Friday night at about 6:45 p.m. from a home on Springs Fireplace Road; family reported him missing after he left the residence on foot.

Alejo-Garcia is a vulnerable adult with dementia who might have been in need of medical attention, police said.
An extensive search of the area was conducted using East Hampton Police Department drones, Suffolk County aviation, and Suffolk County Police and Southampton Village Police K-9 units, police said.
