Town Of East Hampton: Rooftop Solar Soars In EH; Owners Save With Solar Bulk Purchasing Program

One hundred-sixty five rooftop solar systems have been installed since the start of the program in 2018, with 63 completed in 2021.Cumulatively, the solar panels generate about 1.8 Megawatts of power, contributing significantly to Hampton’s renewable, clean electricity production, and helping our community achieve its 100-percent renewable energy goal.

East Hampton Town’s partnership with GreenLogic Energy streamlines the process for home and business owners to go solar, offering group rates below market prices. In addition to free solar energy assessments, tax credits, financing, and discounts on the solar installation, owners who go solar are also saving money on utility costs. .
