The Week Ahead: Potluck Dinner on the Beach, Mid-Week Art

Check out what's happening July 22 to 26.


Here are five events from our calendar to give you a taste of what's ahead this week.

1. WHALERS SPORTS CAMP @ Sag Harbor Schools:

Four weekly sessions, one of which starts on Monday. Basketball, Soccer, Kickball, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Wiffle Ball, Bowling, Golf, Badminton, Pickleball, Handball, Tag Games. Cooperative Games, Project Adventure, Running/Walking and Fitness. The cost is $250 per week.
2. VEGAN POTLUCK DINNER ON THE BEACH

The community is invited to Wellness Foundation's annual Vegan Potluck Dinner on the Beach at the Main Beach pavilion on Monday at 6 p.m. Brign a heart-healthy vegan dish to share, a copy of your recipe and a chair or towel for seating. Bring your own utensils and plates. 

3. MUSIC AT GURNEY'S

The Legendary Murphys classic rock band is playing on Tuesday as part of the Tuesday night concert series at Gurney's Inn on the beach in Montauk.  

4. ANNUAL MID-WEEK ART AT ASHAWAGH HALL

The second mid-week art at Ashawagh Hall will take place Wednesday and Thursday. The show will feature the work of  Cynthia Loewen, John Todaro, Jerry Schwabe, Lynn Martell, Peter Spacek and Sarah Jaffe Turnbull. A reception will take place on Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m.

5. 45th Year Celebration & Sale at Charlie Whitmore Gardens

Charlie Whitmore Gardens in Amagansett will host a special 45th Year Celebration and Sale on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. A special one-day, 25 percent off sale on trees and shrubs will be featured, in addition to a free raffle, refreshments, and goody bags.
