Bethpage Teen Killed On Southern State Parkway
Driver loses control and strikes tree in North Massapequa
A Bethpage teen was killed in a one-car crash on the Southern State Parkway Wednesday morning, state police said.
Monisha Jacob, 19, was driving west on the parkway near the Bethpage Parkway exit in North Massapequa when she lost control of her vehicle trying to slow down for traffic at 11:57 a.m., police said
She went off the road and struck a tree near the right shoulder of the road.
Jacob was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
