Farmingdale St. Patrick's Day Parade: What To Know

Here's what Farmingdale residents should know about the upcoming St. Patrick's Day Parade, from the date, time, route, and road closures.

FARMINGDALE, NY — The 11th Annual Farmingdale St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16.

"Wear green and join the community for a great parade and fun celebration in downtown Farmingdale," the village wrote.

Farmingdale Village Trustee Cheryl Parisi will serve as the parade's grand marshal. The parade kicks off from Northside Elementary School and spans about half a mile down Main Street to the Village Green including local community groups, Farmingdale/local fire departments, pipe bands, village officials, and more.

Groups, organizations, or clubs interested in participating / marching in the Village of Farmingdale's St. Patrick's Day Parade can email: Joe Fortuna at Joef@thenuttyirishman.com, or call 516-293-9700. Individuals and residents can also join in the line-up to march. The parade step-off is at 2 p.m. Marchers and parade participants are asked to meet at Northside Elementary School around 1:30 p.m. to line up.
