Taim Restaurant Closes Farmingdale Location

FARMINGDALE, NY — Taim Restaurant of Farmingdale has closed this spring.

The Mediterranean restaurant, which opened in September 2023, was at 1024 Broadhollow Road.

"Thank you, Farmingdale!" Taim wrote in a Facebook post. "Our Farmingdale location is now closed. We're so grateful to everyone who stopped in for a pita, a plate, a bite with friends, or just to say hi. Thank you for welcoming us into your neighborhood and being part of our story. We’re especially proud of the team who brought big flavor and heart to this shop every single day."

Taim has a location at 397 S. Oyster Bay Road, Plainview.

Taim offers a choice between a pita or bowl topped with a main choice of falafel, meatballs, cauliflower shawarma, eggplant, chicken shawarma or impossible kebabs. Customers can then add toppings and sauces.

Taim first opened in New York City's West Village, bringing Mediterranean flavors to the founders' hometown.
