"@WaxxX, is proudly the only local salon that specializes in men’s grooming needs," Monga told Patch. "My clients prefer coming to a local and relaxed spot as compared to large franchises, which they find very clinical and formal."
@WaxxX strives to offer a relaxed setting with three themed rooms with competitive pricing and promotions, Monga said. The shop offers customized wax packages, along with facials and other body polishing and smoothing treatments.

Monga also runs a monthly raffle that people can buy into for the cost of a lottery ticket, she said. The raffle prize winner receives their choice of wax service, in reward.
"As a long time resident of Farmingdale, I am lucky to have a five-minute commute to my place of business," Monga said. "This gives me the flexibility to work outside of my business hours, which my clients find very convenient. @WaxxX, also uses a high grade analgesic wax, which I hear from most clients is the least painful wax they’ve ever had."
The store is currently looking for an esthetician who can provide facials.
