- A 49-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Freeport. A 66-year-old driver was traveling west on Sunrise Highway near South Main Street around 8 p.m. when he hit the pedestrian, who suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital. (News 12)
- One man is dead, and another is in serious condition after a motorcycle crash in Rockville Centre Sunday night. A 36-year-old man was driving a 2020 BMW motorcycle east on Merrick Road when he hit a 42-year-old man crossing the street near North Forest Avenue. The driver was thrown from his motorcycle. (Patch)
- A new ramen shop has opened in Lynbrook. Ni Ramen is at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Merrick Road, where Burger Bandit closed. (Subscription: Newsday)
