4 People Injured In Head-On Nassau Crash: Police
The crash took place on Nassau Expressway during the overnight hours on Sunday, police say.

INWOOD, NY —Four people were hospitalized Sunday after a head-on crash in Inwood, police said.
During the overnight hours on Sunday, police responded to a car fire on Nassau Expressway and Burnside Avenue.
An investigation revealed that a two-car, head-on collision had occurred involving a 2012 Sprinter van and a 2016 Honda four-door sedan, authorities said.

The van was traveling northbound on Nassau Expressway with just the driver, who was brought to a local hospital for non-serious injuries, police said. The Honda, with three people, was headed southbound on Nassau Expressway; two sustained serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries and were taken to an area hospital by separate Nassau County Police Department ambulances, police said. The third person sustained non-serious injuries and was brought by a FDNY ambulance to a hospital, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
