  1. Nassau County police are investigating the robbery of People's United Bank. A robber entered the bank, at 106 7th St., at 9:56 a.m. on Monday, approached the teller and gave her a note demanding money. The man fled. (Patch)
  2. A missing elderly Nassau man has been located. Radames Santoni, 89, had last been seen operating a white 2007 Mercury Marquis on Searingtown Road in North Hills. Police say he was found on Tuesday. (News 12)
  3. A Far Rockaway man, Thyron Aycock, 48, has been convicted at trial of murder for the beating death of a man in 2012. The victim’s remains were discovered by park employees clearing sand dunes in Far Rockaway after Hurricane Sandy. (Wave of Long Island)
