Bob's Furniture Holds 5 Towns Grand Opening This Month
The Lawrence location is 22,000 square feet.

LAWRENCE, NY — Bob's Furniture is adding a new location in the Five Towns. The official grand opening is Friday, Feb. 17, for the 22,000 square-foot store on Rockaway Turnpike, Bob's 165th location.
It is expected to boost the local economy with 30-50 new jobs.
Richard Muniz, the regional director for Metro New York and Long Island, said as part of the ribbon cutting, they will immediately give back to the community.

With the store located on the Queens/Nassau border, Muniz expected customers from throughout the area to browse.
And occasionally they will be able to browse furniture virtually.
"We're going to be offering technology solutions at times, so we'll have some display centers where guests can select furniture that we may not even have in the store," Muniz said.
To entice customers, the store is celebrating its grand opening throughout President's Day weekend with a face painter and animal balloon artists. Plus, the in-store cafe will hand out free snacks.
