Here are the top three stories in Five Towns today:

  1. The owner of a Nassau County construction company, Nadeem Anwar, 46, of Valley Stream, was indicted today on manslaughter charges after a wall he built in Brooklyn collapsed in 2019 and killed a 5-year-old girl. Anwar and his company, City Wide Construction and Renovations, Inc., were both arraigned in Brooklyn Supreme Court on Tuesday. (Patch)
  2. Workers at a Starbucks in Great Neck filed a complaint alleging that management of the store engaged in nine unfair labor practices, threatening disciplinary action, loss of promotion and loss of opportunities to work in different stores over employees' support of unionizing.   3. Rabbis from synagogues on Long Island, New York City and Westchester arrived in Poland last week with humanitarian aid for Ukrainians.
