2. Orthodox Jewish leaders from Queens and Long Island endorsed New York Gov. Kathy Hochul at a campaign event in Far Rockaway on Thursday. The endorsement came from leaders in Far Rockaway, Queens, and the Five Towns area. (Jewish Insider)
3. Steven Kaufman stepped down as mayor of Hewlett Bay Park on March 3, after his ninth consecutive two-year term. He became mayor in 2004. (LI Herald)
