Green Acres Donates $3,000 To 6 Local Women's-Based Organizations
"[The] mall is thrilled to recognize these women leaders and female-focused non-profit organizations," Market Manager Jill Bromberg said.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — As part of Women's History Month in March, Green Acres Mall made donations of $500 to six different local organizations.
Each organization was selected because they are either women-run or has a mission that is dedicated to helping women.
- Hewlett House: Many free services are offered to people and families coping with cancer.
- 3 Times As Many: The group addresses black maternal health issues.
- Top Ladies of Distinction: Work to advance the general welfare of communities through service
- The Manchester: The organization works toward bridging the gap of women of different ages.
- JOWMA Jewish Orthodox Women’s Medical Association: It provides free health education to the Orthodox Jewish community.
- Rosedale Civic Association: They work to preserve and enhance the quality of life of this Southeastern Queens suburban enclave west of Green Acres.
"Women play an integral role in our local community," said Jill Bromberg, Marketing Manager of Green Acres Mall. "Our shopping center's ongoing goal is to foster connections with neighboring towns and create a welcoming space that engages our local residents. With the assistance of local officials, Green Acres Mall is thrilled to recognize these women leaders and female-focused non-profit organizations."
