  1. A rabbi from Chabad of Hewlett fled Ukraine Thursday. Menachen Lessoff and his wife, Daniela Brez were in Dnipro for their wedding when war broke out. (Patch)
  2. Another candidate may throw their hat in the ring for the 4th Congressional District seat Democratic Rep. Kathleen Rice is leaving. Malverne Mayor Keith Corbett will make an announcement soon about his plans to run. Corbett, 42, is a Democrat, and if he makes a bid for the race, he will join County Legislator Carrié Solages, former Town of Supervisor Laura Gillen, County Legislator Siela Bynoe and Republican Bill Staniford from Lawrence.
