Tempo Group/Tempo Youth Services was founded over 50 years ago by individuals who were concerned about the wellbeing of our youth and their families and as such wanted to create an agency dedicated to the social and emotional health of these youth and families. They were individuals who understood that change came with education, interventions, and alternatives to unfortunate circumstances.
Tempo continues to pride itself on that foundation. Today, when one can't pick up a newspaper or turn on the news without being confronted by the substance use epidemic that has gripped our island and the nation; Tempo has renewed its efforts to provide the community with quality prevention, education, intervention, and treatment services. We recall the foundation of our agency philosophy and know that change and healing can be achievable.
Today Tempo Group provides the communities we serve with quality individualized care offering various therapy services that include medication assisted treatments, family therapy and peer support. We also continue to offer prevention education and intervention to our youth and their families. We are committed to aiding our communities in this time of crisis and beyond. With three offices across Nassau County offering in-person and telehealth services; Tempo Group's non-profit community-based agency is meeting the growing need for accessible, caring evidence-based services and strategies to serve Long Island families struggling with substance use and mental health issues.
Tempo Group is in network and participates in most insurances. No one is turned away for inability to pay.
