Here are the top three stories in Five Towns today:
- The Navy's Blue Angels will return to the 18th annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach this Memorial Day weekend. The show is planned for Sat., May 28 and Sun., May 29. (Patch)
- Early voting has started in the special election for the 20th Assembly District seat covering southwest Nassau. Ari Brown, the Republican, and David Lobl, the Democrat, are both from Cedarhurst. (Subscription: Newsday)
- A driver turned herself in Tuesday night for a hit-and-run in Bellmore that left a young woman in critical condition. It happened aat 10:50 p.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Bedford Avenue and 40 minutes later, Ashley Martin, 26, of Lindenhurst, turned herself in and was arrested. (News 12)

- A new NY Race Track Chaplaincy headqaurters is being built at Belmont Park in Elmont. The Race Track Chaplaincy of America was formed in 1971 and serves employees and their families with children's enrichment, social service, and recreational programs, educational opportunities, and non-denominational religious services. - Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools says that all requests for transportation to non-public schools for the 2022-23 school year must be returned in person or postmarked by April 1, 2022. (Facebook)
- Nextdoor Neighbor, Woodsburgh: "Any recommendations for someone who does nice work with wood finishing? I would like to have some wood edging inside my house sanded and refinished." (Nextdoor)
