Male Pedestrian, 87, Critically Hurt By Motorcycle In Nassau: Police

VALLEY STREAM, NY — A man was struck by a motorcycle in Valley Stream on Wednesday morning and is in critical condition, police said.

The victim, an 87-year-old man, was crossing Rockaway Parkaway just before 9:30 a.m. when he was hit was a 2023 Ducati motorcycle, driven by a 33-year-old man, authorities said.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with head and leg injuries, police said.

The driver of the motorcycle remained at scene and refused medical attention. Police are investigating.
