Mall Shoplifter Taken To Custody By ICE: Police

Rammeike Campbell​ faces charges that include grand larceny and false impersonation, police said.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — A man was arrested for shoplifting from the Macy's at the Green Acres Mall on Monday afternoon, police said.

Rammeike A. Campbell, 27, of Queens, hid merchandise inside a shopping bag and exited the store without paying, police said.

Loss prevention officers confronted and police placed him under arrest, authorities said.

It was also determined he left Forever 21 in the Green Acres Mall without paying for items, police said.

An investigation revealed that Campbell provided police with false information regarding his identity, has an active New York City arrest warrant and an outstanding warrant of removal
pending with US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), police said.

Campbell is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, false impersonation and petit larceny, police said.

He was released on an appearance ticket and taken into custody by ICE agents.
