Man Arrested After Stabbing 2 Women At Nassau Home: Police

LAWRENCE, NY — A man was arrested after stabbing two women at a Nassau County home Friday morning, police said.

According to Nassau police, officers responded to a "disturbance" at a home on Caryl Drive in Lawrence at 5:15 a.m. They found two women, ages 18 and 48, with multiple stab wounds.

The women, who police did not name, were taken to a nearby hospital where they are both in stable condition.

Rodolfo Novello, 53, was found walking down Mott Avenue a short time later and placed under arrest, police said.
