Man Kills Brother In 'Violent' Incident On Long Island: Police

The brother who died showed signs of blunt force trauma, police say.

INWOOD, NY — A man killed his brother during a "violent domestic incident" in Inwood Monday, police said.

According to Nassau County police, the homicide squad said the incident took place at about 5:06 p.m.

Fourth Precinct police responded to a Wahl Avenue residence for an aided case; upon arrival, police found a 52-year-old male unresponsive, with visible signs of blunt force trauma, authorities said.

After a thorough investigation, it was revealed that the "violent domestic incident" had occurred between two brothers at the residence, police said.

The 52-year-old was pronounced deceased by a Nassau County police medic at the scene, authorities said.

Police placed Anthony Iacomino, 46, of Inwood into police custody; he was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday, police said.
