Man Sought For Spray Painting 'House Of Bullies' In Hebrew At Synagogue In Five Towns: Police

WOODMERE, NY — Police are investigating a bias incident in the Five Towns on Wednesday night, police said.

An unknown man was seen on surveillance video just after 11 p.m. entering the property of Young Israel of Woodmere on Peninsula Boulevard, police said.

The person spray painted the parking lot with words "house of bullies" in Hebrew, as well as a reference to a portion of religious scripture, police said.

The man was seen on video wearing a white mask, black hoodie, dark-colored pants, black gloves and black gloves, police said.

He left the scene on foot southbound on Longacre Avenue towards Fiske Drive. The investigation is ongoing.
