More Than $25,000 Worth Of Jewelry Robbed From Nassau Store: Police

EAST ROCKAWAY, NY — A man is sought for a robbery that occurred on Tuesday morning in East Rockaway, police said.
The 64-year-old male victim was working at the Antique Buyers of LI on Main Street when an unknown man approached, police said.
The man demanded that the victim hand over a brown leather briefcase that contained an assorted amount of jewelry that was valued at in excess of $25,000, police said.

The victim handed over the briefcase and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
