Multi-Car Crash Kills Man, 82, In Nassau: Police
The driver of a Mercedes Benz collided with SUV, lost control after slamming into a tree and hit another vehicle, police said.

WOODMERE, NY — A multi-car crash led to a 82-year-old man being killed on Friday morning in Woodmere, police said.
A 78-year-old woman was driving a 2024 Mercedes eastbound on West Broadway near Howard Avenue when she collided with a 2024 Honda SUV also traveling eastbound.
The driver of the Mercedes then lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree causing the vehicle to overturn, police said.

While overturning, the Mercedes collided with a 2024 Nissan Rogue.
The passenger of the Mercedes was pronounced dead at scene.

Nassau County Police Medic and the female driver was transported to a local
hospital for minor injuries, police said.
The driver of the Honda, a 27-year-old female was not
injured. She was accompanied by her infant child who was also uninjured, police said.
The driver of the Nissan, a 33-year-old male, was take to a local hospital for minor injuries, police said.
Police are investigating.
