  1. Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman announced that Nassau County is accepting legal weapons to be sent to Ukraine. Rifles and shotguns can be dropped off at SP Firearms in Franklin Square, 804 Hempstead Turnpike. (Patch)
  2. The proposed 2022-2023 Hewlett-Woodmere School District budget has an increase of almost $1.3 million, and the tax levy percentage, currently at 1.95 percent would go down to 1.02 percent. (LI Herald)
