  2. News 12 Long Island talks to Uniondale residents about their experiences during Saturday's tornado. One homeowner's roof was ripped off and he said his house was shaking. (News 12)
  3. The number of new Long Island COVID-19 cases continues to increase. The infection rate is now over 3 percent. Levittown leads Nassau in cases, with 7,189 counted. (Daily Voice)
  4. Patch explains that the Long Island Rail Road has opened its first new station in 50 years. UBS Arena opening is this weekend and now trains will stop at the new Elmont platform beginning Saturday. The station will start with eastbound service to the arena, as well as nearby Belmont Park.
