  1. Supply chain problems are affecting pet supplies. Long Islanders are reporting they can't find certain brands of cat food and dog food and other items. (News 12)
  2. This weekend's weather could make for dangerous driving conditions. A mix of snow and rain is on the horizon Sunday night into Monday. (News 12)
  3. In Atlantic Beach, public opinion is divided over whether the village should obtain two vacant parcels of land by eminent domain: 2025 Park St., would become a community center and Parcel Two, at 2035 Park, would be a community park. (LI Herald)

  • A woman from Freeport was arrested for driving drunk and crashing into an ambulance. Kayla Curtis-Jackson, 21, was driving on Ponquogue Avenue at Good Ground Road in Hampton Bays when she crashed just before 2 a.m. into a Hampton Bays volunteer ambulance. (Subscription: Newsday)
  • Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library has an introduction to scratch coding course for grades 3-5 on Zoom. (Facebook)
