Nassau Man Stole Nearly $500K From Employer: Prosecutors
He was charged with second-degree theft by unlawful taking, prosecutors said.
FREEHOLD, NJ — A Valley Stream man has been charged in connection with the theft of nearly $500,000 from his Ocean-Township-based employer, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Tuesday.

An investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecution Office Financial Crimes and Special Prosecutions Unit was initiated by a referral from Hardoon’s former employer, after it was discovered that he stole funds while serving as their bookkeeper, Santiago said.
