- Police are searching Friday for the person who fatally shot a 33-year-old female Northwell Health worker at a parking garage in New Hyde Park on Thursday night. They believe Amelia Laguerre of St. Albans was targeted. (News 12)
- Tickets to see Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in his first-ever concert at UBS Arena in Elmont go on sale April 11. The show will be on Dec. 13. (Patch)
- Valley Stream North High School’s literary magazine “The North Star” won three Adelphi Press Day Quill Awards. The student magazine took first place in the Best Visual category for Kimberly Shrestha’s illustration, “The Magical Library.” (LI Herald)

- A former Uber driver acquitted of kidnapping will serve a 60-day jail sentence and three years of probation for child endangerment for hitting on a 15-year-old passenger from Merrick in 2019.
