Woman Yells Anti-Semitic Slurs, Pulls Down Israeli Flag In 5 Towns: Police
Tanisha Williams is charged with criminal mischief and petty larceny, police said.
CEDARHURST, NY — A West Hempstead woman has been arrested in connection to a bias incident in the Five Towns on Sunday afternoon, police said.
Tanisha Williams, 52, was riding a bicycle eastbound on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst and yelling anti-Semitic remarks, police said.
She stopped near the corner of Prospect Avenue and ripped down an Israeli flag which was hanging from a sign, police said.

Williams fled and was on Franklin Place where she was placed her under arrest without incident, authorities said.
Williams is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and petty larceny, police said.

She was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
